Background
Since 2014 I have been working as an independent researcher and consultant. Before that I worked successively at the RIVM, the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, climate & energy consultancy Ecofys and the World Wildlife Fund.
After studying Soil Science at Wageningen University in the Netherlands (cum laude), I obtained my doctorate with a thesis entitled Time Trends and Mechanisms of Soil Acidification. During my PhD I worked 1½ years at the University of Göttingen in Germany.
